The Faculties’ excellent academic, social and accommodation facilities are based in one of the three University campuses, in the centre of Porto. Both Faculties are modern buildings and can provide the necessary infrastructures and ensure a smooth organization of this biennial conference. They frequently host international conferences, and conference facilities are run by professional, dedicated in-house units. Both Faculties offer a view to the river Douro, so conference delegates will have a chance to relax over the breaks. Delegates are guaranteed Internet access in all university buildings (which means virtually throughout the city), either via the Eduroam network, or using a guest user account provided specifically by the University IT team.
This is a very attractive area in the city centre, within a walking distance to many hotels, tourist attractions, cafés and restaurants, and local transportation.
